Meet Josefine - our new apprentice in technical insulation

It's great to be able to use your hands and professionalism for something concrete, and when you can go to work happy and have good colleagues to spar with, it's not just a job or an apprenticeship - it becomes a lifestyle!

20-year-old Josefine has already completed her secondary education, but after a gap year she wanted to try something completely new - as a technical insulator at Norisol.

Josefine signed a contract with Norisol at the end of September 2024 and will complete an apprenticeship until March 2028, where the training alternates between teaching at a vocational school and practical training both in the workshop and with customers. The entire training program ends with a journeyman's exam.

- I learn a lot about energy-saving insulation, insulation of ventilation and cooling systems, noise insulation, measuring and material consumption, among other things. It's a great industry where I'm involved in both theory and practice. We also have a buddy system where I can always go to my colleague Daniel with questions. But otherwise, my other colleagues are also super helpful," Josefine explains.

At Norisol, we look forward to following Josefine's professional development and hope that she will become a permanent part of the team as a technical insulator after completing her apprenticeship.

Welcome to the team, Josefine!
