More about thermal insulation

Efficient thermal insulation gives you quick results on the financial side and also counts on the environmental accounts. When heat is produced, whether as the primary production or as a natural consequence of another production, this heat almost always needs to be conducted away from the heat source. Often, the heat has to be used in a completely different place than where it is produced. Therefore, it must be transported in pipe systems or ducts with as little heat loss as possible.

Norisol knows how to insulate effectively. It's not always enough just to insulate - it also needs to be done in the right way and with the right materials. And of course, there may be legal requirements that need to be taken into account. That's why at Norisol, we always consider a new assignment as something special, where we objectively assess which insulation requirements need to be met before recommending which methods and materials should be used to maximize the effect of the insulation. For thermal insulation, different types of mineral wool or ceramic fiber material are typically used.

Thermal insulation can also mean that the heat source must be encapsulated so that the heat does not disturb the surroundings, for example in workplaces. Here, it is also important that the insulated material has an appropriate surface. The surface may need to meet hygiene requirements or there may be weather conditions that need to be taken into account. And of course, the surface should also be decorative and attractive to look at.

Thermal insulation solutions adapted to your wishes and needs

At Norisol we use several different types of cladding. Most commonly used is sheet cladding, which is prefabricated in our workshops and then installed on site by our trained, technical insulators.

The material may be aluminium, stainless steel or galvanized sheet, possibly with a profile or colour. But also PVC cladding, alu-kraft, cardboard and canvas, special paint and custom-made insulation pads are used, depending on the purpose and your wishes.

This means that in addition to being energy-optimizing, your insulation solution can also be decorative and blend in naturally with its physical surroundings.
