Today, April 15, Norisol can once again celebrate a colleague's anniversary - for 40 years of service to the company!
Project Manager Peter Olesen from Region Nord in Frederikshavn joined IsoleringsConsortiet (later acquired by Norisol) in 1981 as a young 21-year-old technical insulator based in Frederikshavn. His hard work and overview quickly led him to larger projects in Denmark, Norway and Germany.
After 13 years as a technical insulator, Peter was appointed project manager in 1994. A large project on Bornholm meant that Peter spent a year living on the sunny island and through his work got to know Bornholm's business community well. A network Norisol has since benefited from, as we have subsequently had a regular customer base on the island, even though it is a long way from Bornholm to Norisol Nord in Frederikshavn.
In addition to Bornholm, Peter has had a special connection to Greenland for many years, as he has been the anchorman for the execution of Norisol's outfitting tasks for the Royal Arctic Line fleet.
Over time, Peter's tasks became more focused on noise insulation, and in the late 90s he started working with sound engineer Peder Lykkeberg, who was a specialist in the field at the time. Peder was a good teacher, and Peter himself had a great interest in the subject and began self-study in the subtleties of the subject in his spare time and is today a skilled specialist in the field.
Peter's tasks within acoustics and noise reduction are many, varied and nationwide. Through his sales work and customer contact, he has built up a portfolio of the largest food industries in Denmark, where he designs and performs tasks on industrial facilities, screens industrial systems and performs energy optimization both externally and internally.
