Golden anniversaries with the company are rare, but that's exactly what Niels Chr. Skov (left) celebrated on August 9, 2020 with Norisol as a permanent partner for 50 years.
Throughout his 50-year career at Norisol, Niels has primarily worked with insulation.
Niels started as a sweeper at IKAS at the age of 14. He quickly became interested in getting out and working on insulation projects in the company. He settled in well and soon became the foreman of his own work team.
The nature of the assignments has often been complex and required technical insight, overview and practical understanding. Niels had that, so when Isolerings Consortiet and Norisol merged, he took up a new position as Project Manager specializing in technical insulation for large industries and power plants.
"Niels has always been a rock for his colleagues in the insulation industry. He is always ready to help his colleagues when tasks require knowledge that is outside the normal spectrum. His experience is considerable and he has an in-depth technical insight that is very valuable to both customers and colleagues. " Says Director of Region North Vagner K. Jensen and continues "I am proud that we as a local company can retain and preserve so much knowledge for 50 years. And I hope that we will benefit from Niels for a long time to come."
Through Niels' vast experience and insight, he has often been asked to work abroad. Niels has always taken these assignments as a challenge, which has also given him the opportunity to travel and experience other countries. And Niels is always up for new assignments at Norisol, where he has most recently been responsible for a major renovation project at Amager Resource Center.
A reception will be held for Niels for invited collaborators and colleagues on August 14.

Because we have long-standing and loyal customer relationships, we are a preferred supplier to the largest shipyards and shipping companies in the Nordics. And now we are focusing further on international sales.
Norisol A/S employs approximately 500 employees nationwide, of which approximately 150 are in Frederikshavn.
