Norisol expands Arla Foods in Branderup and helps them reach climate goals

Norisol is in full swing with the expansion at Branderup Dairy in Southern Jutland. In total, we have been involved in the construction of 4 new buildings. Right now we are installing stainless steel panels followed by trapezoidal sheets on Building 8. We provide both the facade contract and the technical insulation.

This expansion will increase the dairy's capacity by 500 million liters of milk annually, corresponding to 53 million kilos of mozzarella. The large amount of extra cheese will more than double the current mozzarella production, so in the future, Branderup Dairy will produce 91 million kilos of mozzarella annually.

The major investment in the expansion also means a major investment in the latest technology that will be sustainable. In the future, the dairy will be responsible for a significant reduction in water consumption as water is reused at all stages, and the expansion is being prepared for future, greener forms of energy.

Norisol is very pleased to be part of the expansion and thereby also help Arla on the way towards their climate goals of reducing total CO2 emissions by 30 percent by 2030 compared to 2015, and to become completely CO2 neutral by 2050.
