Since 2010, Norisol has continuously renovated the passenger and cruise ferry 'Sarfaq Ittuk'. We have been responsible for the entire restoration of new passenger facilities including design package, production of fixed furniture and installation. In 2023, Norisol renovated two junior suites and the large Igloo suite, which is the largest on the ferry. In 2024, Norisol will renovate additional 10 junior suites.
In addition, Norisol has newly established and furnished 14 berths, also called courchettes, and associated bathrooms and toilets. The berths are screened with curtains, but are in open connection to the common hallway and kitchenette.
The work process involves clearing the area for the new suites and berths to the sides of the ship, and then installing new wall panels and ceilings as well as new fixtures and fittings.
In 2024, we will carry out renovations of 'Sarfaq Ittuk' at the shipyard in North Jutland, but previous renovations have also been carried out in Greenland.
